Close your eyes and imagine being a proud internet user with a DSL connection. Now imagine being a videomaker: you enjoy your handy consumer camera and edit short videos from your laptop. Now imagine being someone who cares about having interesting films and videos to watch: wouldn't it be nice to be part of a network that gives you the chance to upload your video productions, share your visions and download video and films that you can't see anywhere else?

Telestreet, the Italian network of the street televisions, and NGVision, an online video archive and distribuition project, won the prestigious "Prix Ars Electronica". The two networks from Italy, partners of the D-A-S-H workshop in Rome in 2003, achieved the Award of Distinction within the Digital Communities category of the Prix Ars Electronica 2005 in Linz.

The project "Hot Russian line" intends to bring information on current problems and questions of social movements in Russia to the international audience, artistically using the concept of tactical television. The project is made in a form of five video-clips dedicated to key social topics which are: leftist movement, illegal immigration, IT development, 1st Russian Social Forum and a look from Russia at Ukraine and its orange revolution. The clips will be released gradually in a period of time from April, 8th until April, 22nd.

This twenty minutes talk is focusing on the question of free cooperation in the framework of educational settings. The talk took place as a discussion via webcam, with Trebor Scholz and Tony Conrad from and at the Media Department of the State University of New York (Buffalo) and Christoph Spehr, at the Bildungsoffensive office in Berlin. The Video is from the Berlin office, showing Christoph during this talk, whereas Tony and Trebor can only be heard from Buffalo. This talk is the first one in a series of such webcamtalks that deal with the question of new media and education.

Young activists and community leaders produced "34 messages" during the Youth Organizing Institute held in Vukovar on October 8-14, 2004. The focus of this film-project was to find a creative use of technology to develop community building within the diverse group of students and faculty involved.

The NEURO TALK Constitutive practices: Ad-hoc-networking and virtual organising was the closing debate on sunday night, 29th of February 2004. Franco Bifo Berardi opened the discussion with reflections on europe and neurosis, which was followed by Pit Schultz, who reflected on net activism at its current state. The discussion was followed by many closing or summarizing remarks and statements from Valery Rey Alzaga, Shahidul Alam, Sebastian Lüttgert, Diana Mccarthy, Florian Schneider and many many more.

The NEURO TALK "Save image as" was the discussion Florian Schneider moderated between Enno Patalas, Ralph Giles, Brian Holmes and Sebastian Lüttgert and took place on Saturday 28th of February 2004 early evening. The debate ranked around the crisis of representation, the importance of free video and audio codecs and the role of images.

Florian Schneider discussed with Shahidul Alam, Geert Lovink and Dierk Borstel different strategies, perspective and challenges in the struggle against exclusion we are facing nowadays.
