European Youth in Action for Diversity and Tolerance
  sla  11/11/2005 - 14:25

From November 6th to 9th 2005 for the second time a youth conference for young people from all over Europe took place, where issues of discrimination, and exlusion are being discussed. As its predecessor in 2001, also this conference took place in Berlin and resulted in a declaration and an action plan, created by the conference participants. The conference was organised by the European Commission, Directorate General Education and Culture, programme YOUTH and the Federal Republic of Germany, Federal Ministry for Familiy Affairs, Senior Citizen, Women and Youth. It was realized by "JUGEND für Europa" and by the "Internationaler Jugendaustausch- und Besucherdienst der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" (IJAB) e.V. and supported by D-A-S-H. To find all conference information, the declaration and the action plan, please visit http://youth-against-racism.net .

It is great that the youth are involved in such conferences. They are the ones that are the future. They are the ones that need to adapt to changing environment. They are the ones that will have to accept and integrate in the society.

The secret to happiness is not in doing what one likes to do, but in liking what one has to do.
